This is an opportunity to introduce yourself as part of a larger conversation about intersectionality. Let’s start by reading “What Constitutes a Culture,” in Intercultural Communication, by Tracy Novinger. As you  read, consider the following questions: Why do you think that “culture” has so many different meanings in English? Why might it be important to have a common understanding of what we MEAN by “culture” before we can truly have a discussion about the implications of culture?
