1. Evidence Based Practice Project
This assignment provides an opportunity for the student nurse to critically evaluate the value and benefits of evidence based practice.An academic poster is a summary of your scholarly project in a visually engaging way. It must be academically sound, highlighting the context of your work (through photographs, graphs, etc.), summarize your literature review (the evidence), and conclusions/implications for practice (with graphs, charts, photographs, etc.). The poster should be able to stand on its own as a clear, logical presentation of your work, without any explanation from you.
The poster should address one of the following (See Appendix A for grading rubric):
Promoting quality care using EBPImplementing EBP research in nursing practiceBenefits of EBP in nursingLimitations of EBP in nursing
The poster should include the following:
a. Succinct Title (Position statement)
b.Background Information
c.Literature Review (presentation of the evidence to support your
position)
d.Implications for Practice
e.Recommendations/Conclusion
f. Minimum of five references (APA) format.
